STEAK SUSHIS

Whether you like sushi or not, here's a great opportunity to eat steak with chopsticks! Perfectly seasoned steak with our Sriracha sauce, BBQ Steak sauce, soy sauce and honey. Stuffed with chow mein noodles, green onions, enoki mushrooms, zucchini and carrot, this perfect reinvented classic will impress your guests!

Ingredients

  • 6 thigh sandwich steaks
  • 3 green onions cut into thirds crosswise
  • 75g enoki mushrooms
  • 1 zucchini cut into julienne
  • 50 g grated carrots
  • 100 g chow mein noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 C. tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds

SUPPORT INGREDIENTS

  • 2 avocados cut into slices
  • 25g enoki mushrooms
  • 2 chopped green onions
  • 1 serrano pepper, cut into slices
  • 1 C. teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 C. teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 1 C. teaspoon of honey
  • The juice of a lime
  • 3 drops of toasted sesame oil

BASTING SAUCE INGREDIENTS

  • 100 ml BBQ Steak sauce
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp Firebarns Sriracha sauce
  • 1 C. tablespoon of honey

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the side dish. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
  2. Stuff the steak with a sprinkle of chow mein noodles, green onions, enoki mushrooms, zucchini and carrot. Roll the steak tightly like sushi. Insert 3 toothpicks to make sure the roll stays tight.
  3. Place on the BBQ at 400°F and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side, basting with the sauce 2 or 3 times.
  4. Serve with the marinated avocado mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
