Ribeye & Sautéed Mushrooms

A simple recipe to make on the BBQ with our Steak sauce using a cut of meat that we particularly like, the rib-eye. Served with delicious mushrooms sautéed with bacon, bourbon, onion and butter, this recipe is sure to please your guests!


  • 2 rib-eye steaks (300 g)
  • 450 g sliced ​​button mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup BBQ Steak sauce
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 150 g bacon cut into small cubes
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of butter
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Chive


  1. In a pan, brown the onion and bacon with a drizzle of olive oil. Deglaze with the bourbon and add the mushrooms and butter.
  2. Continue cooking until the mushrooms are nicely browned. Add the BBQ Steak sauce and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. On the BBQ, cook the steaks until desired doneness. Leave to rest for about 10 minutes and cut into slices about 2 cm wide.
  4. Serve the steak slices over the pan-fried mushrooms and sprinkle with chives before serving
