TikTok Italian Sandwich

A super easy recipe that's currently trending on TikTok - the Italian sandwich! This recipe is a hit for the whole family and will be ready in no time. This sandwich is deliciously enhanced with our spicy Sriracha Mayo, olive oil, red wine vinegar and some Italian spices!

Ingredients

  • 4 submarine buns
  • 100 g proscuitto, roughly chopped
  • 100 g Genoa salami, roughly chopped
  • 180 g provolone cheese, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 finely chopped red onion
  • 2 cups finely chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoons of finely chopped pickled banana peppers
  • 4 peperoncini peppers, finely chopped
  • 125 ml spicy Sriracha mayo
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon Italian spices
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Chop the cold meats roughly and the vegetables finely.
  2. Mix all the ingredients well in a large bowl, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Serve the filling in the submarine buns.

Rapide à préparer, et tout aussi rapide à déguster! C’était excellent! J’ai fait cuire un peu le proscuitto car certains convives aiment davantage la texture cuite, mais outre ce changement mineur, c’était un vrai régal. Mon invité en a redemandé une deuxième portion . À refaire absolument. Et que dire de la mayo Sriracha Firebarns…Ouf!
