It's made with prosciutto, Genoa salami, provolone cheese, red onion, lettuce, banana peppers and peperoncini peppers, all roughly chopped for the meats and finely chopped for the vegetables.

This recipe is a hit with the whole family and will be ready in no time, 15 minutes preparation and 1 hour rest and you're all set.

This sandwich is deliciously enhanced with our Spicy Sriracha Mayo, olive oil, red wine vinegar and a few Italian spices!

Ingrédients

4 submarine rolls
100 g proscuitto, coarsely chopped
100 g Genoa salami, coarsely chopped
180 g provolone cheese, coarsely chopped
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
2 cups iceberg lettuce, finely chopped
3 tbsp. finely chopped pickled banana peppers
4 peperoncini peppers, finely chopped
125 ml Firebarns Spicy Sriracha Mayo
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 tbsp. Italian spices
Salt and pepper to taste

Préparation

Chop cold cuts coarsely and vegetables finely.
Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl, cover and refrigerate for 1 h.
Serve filling in sub rolls.

Rapide à préparer, et tout aussi rapide à déguster! C’était excellent! J’ai fait cuire un peu le proscuitto car certains convives aiment davantage la texture cuite, mais outre ce changement mineur, c’était un vrai régal. Mon invité en a redemandé une deuxième portion . À refaire absolument. Et que dire de la mayo Sriracha Firebarns…Ouf!
