A perfect recipe for busy weeknights with the family with our Deluxe Poutine Hot Dog.
These decadent hot dogs are made with jumbo hot dogs, pulled pork and topped with a commercial poutine sauce spiked with our Southwestern BBQ sauce.
It's also the perfect recipe for ice hockey pregames.
Served on toasted hot dog buns with our Mayo Bacon, it's ready in 15 minutes and very easy to make.
You can also double, triple or even quadruple the recipe depending on the number of guests!
2 brioche hot dog buns
1/4 cup of Mayo Bacon
2 jumbo hot dogs
2/3 cup store-bought poutine sauce
1/3 cup of Southwestern BBQ sauce
300 g of pulled pork
Chives to serve
In a small saucepan, bring poutine sauce and Southwestern BBQ sauce to a boil and remove from heat.
Spread the inside of the buns with the Bacon Mayo and toast in a hot pan until the inside of the buns are golden brown.
Cut the sausages lengthwise without separating the 2 parts and cook flat on both sides in the pan.
Add the sausage on the bread, then the french fries, cheese curds, poutine sauce, garnish with pulled pork and sprinkle with chives before serving.
