WILD SHRIMP WITH HONEY, SRIRACHA AND LIME

Discover our Firebarns Honey & Lime Wild Shrimp, a perfect fusion of sweet and spicy. Wild Argentinian shrimp are sautéed in butter and olive oil, then topped with a sauce of honey, soy, lime juice, and our Sriracha Firebarns for a spicy touch. Served with lime slices and garnished with chopped chives, these shrimp offer an explosion of flavors, perfect for a main course or a refined starter.

Ingredients

  • 350 g of wild Argentinian shrimp
  • 1 C. tablespoon of butter
  • 1 C. tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp soy sauce
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 2 tbsp. Table of Sriracha Firebarns
  • 2 tbsp. table sake (optional)
  • Lime slices for serving
  • Chopped chives to serve

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine the honey, sriracha, sake, soy sauce and lime juice and set aside.
  2. Over high heat, melt the butter with the olive oil. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper and cook for about one to 2 minutes on each side. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
  3. -Add the honey mixture to the pan and bring to a boil. Add the shrimp and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Serve with lime slices and chives.
