Southwest Mini-Burgers

Add a gourmet touch to your Super Bowl parties with our exceptional mini-burgers! Designed for lovers of intense flavors, they are carefully concocted from slowly braised beef, bathed in an exquisite South-West BBQ sauce that will excite your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • +/- 1 kg of chuck roast
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 blond beer 473 ml of your choice
  • 350 ml South-West BBQ sauce
  • 2 package Pillsbury Country Biscuits (follow package directions)
  • 1 can of pickled jalapenos (250 ml)
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Panko mixed with 3 tbsp. Cajun Mardi Gras spices
  • 100g Monterey Jack cheese
  • 10 slices of cooked bacon
  • Mayo Sriracha or Mayo Bacon Firebarns of your choice

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large saucepan over high heat, brown the chuck roast on each side with a little olive oil.
  3. Remove the piece of meat and add the onion to the pan. Continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes and deglaze with the beer.
  4. Add the beef broth and the Southwest BBQ Sauce.
  5. Cover and place in the oven for about 5 hours.
  6. Remove the meat from the pan and shred it well.
  7. Place the pan on the stove over high heat and let the sauce reduce for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Return the shredded beef to the pan and mix well with the sauce.
  9. On absorbent paper, dry the marinated jalapeno peppers.
  10. Dip the jalapenos in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the Panko bread crumb mixture.
  11. Place in the Air Fryer at 390°F for 8-9 minutes, stirring a few times during cooking.
  12. Cut the country biscuits in half and assemble the mini-burgers with Monterey Jack cheese, braised beef, bacon, fried jalapenos and Bacon or Sriracha Mayo.
