Mini Memphis Chicken Burgers

Fall for our Firebarns mini chicken burgers, an explosion of flavors in a smaller format! Prepared with our Memphis Sweet and Sour BBQ Sauce, these sliders are enhanced with our Cajun Mardi Gras Spices and Montreal Steak Spices, then seasoned with our Original Hot Sauce for a touch of intense heat. Each bite offers the perfect balance of sweetness, spice and heat, making these mini burgers a must-have for all your festive occasions. A gourmet delight to savor without moderation!

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups of buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp. Cajun Mardi Gras spices
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp Original hot sauce
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp. Cajun Mardi Gras spices
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 green apple cut into small sticks
  • 1 1/2 cups coleslaw
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • 1 C. tbsp Montreal steak spice
  • 1 C. tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • Memphis BBQ sauce to taste for serving
  • 10 brioche buns
  • Oil for cooking

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into 5 widthwise. In a large dish, combine the buttermilk, Mardi Gras Cajun spices and Original hot sauce. Add the chicken, cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  2. Preheat the oil to 375°F and combine the flour, Cajun Mardi Gras spices and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Coat the chicken pieces well in the flour mixture and immerse in the oil for about 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. In a bowl, combine the coleslaw, apple, mayonnaise, cider vinegar, Montreal steak spices and set aside.
  4. In the buns, place the salad, add the chicken and finish by pouring the Memphis sauce to taste before serving.
