Ingredients:

500g Jumbo shrimp

-1 cup of buttermilk

-1 tsp chili powder

-1 cup of flour

-1/2 cup of cornstarch

-1 egg

-1 ½ cup of Panko Japanese breadcrumbs

Cilantro to serve

Bang Bang Sauce

-1/2 cup mayonnaise

-1/3 cup sweet chili sauce

-1/3 cup Sriracha Firebarns

-1/2 teaspoon honey

Preparation:

In a bowl, combine the buttermilk and chili powder. Add the shrimp to the mixture, cover and let sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Using tongs, remove shrimp, add egg, flour and cornstarch to mixture and whisk until smooth.

Individually, dip shrimp in buttermilk mixture and then dip in Panko

In the oil at 375F. cook the shrimp for about 2 to 3 minutes, sprinkle with cilantro and serve with the Bang Bang sauce.
