WITCH'S STEW

Take out your biggest pot and your finest wooden spoon to prepare this delicious witch's stew enhanced to perfection with our hottest sauce in our collection, Scorpion Vodka, which will bring a nice heat to this frightening dish. Try our spicy version of this dish known to many families in the province, perfect for the Halloween season and your upcoming themed parties. You don't need to fly on a broomstick to display witchcraft in the kitchen!

Ingredients

  • 250g chopped bacon
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 green pepper cut into small cubes
  • 1 red pepper cut into small cubes
  • 50 ml of white wine
  • 1 C. tablespoon of cornstarch diluted in water
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of drained yellow beans
  • 2 cans of drained mushrooms
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 tbsp. tbsp Montreal steak spice
  • 7 to 10 drops Scorpion Vodka hot sauce
  • 375 g cooked and drained egg noodles

Preparation

  1. In a large saucepan, brown the bacon with the ground beef for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, brown the onion and green pepper for 2 to 3 minutes and deglaze with the white wine. Add crushed tomatoes, beans, mushrooms, beef broth, cornstarch and Scorpion Vodka hot sauce. Add the beef and bacon mixture after 5-10 minutes and simmer over medium heat for 30-35 minutes.
  3. Add the pasta, mix well and serve.
