Teriyaki Chicken Won-Ton Tacos

Bites that bite! Our Teriyaki Chicken Won-Ton Tacos combine hot and sweet with the kick of Firebarns Sriracha, a hint of ginger and garlic. Served with a vibrant coleslaw enhanced with our Sambal Oelek, each taco is an explosive mix of flavors. Add a lime for the perfect balance!

Ingredients

  • 12 won-ton wrappers
  • Lime wedges for serving

Teriyaki Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp. Firebarns Sriracha Sauce
  • 3 tbsp. Teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp. fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic

Coleslaw

  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 to 3 drops of sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. Sambal Oelek Firebarns
  • The juice of half a lime

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the chicken in a bowl, mix well, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the salad and set aside.
  3. On upside down muffin tins, place wonton wrappers so they form small tacos and bake at 425°F for 6 to 7 minutes.
  4. In a skillet over medium high heat, cook the chicken until cooked through and roughly chop, reserving the sauce.
  5. Top tacos with chicken, coleslaw, a drizzle of Sriracha sauce, lime wedges and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
