ASIAN TUNA TATAKI WITH FIREBARNS GHOST

Discover our Firebarns Asian Tuna Tataki, enhanced with our Ghost hot sauce. The tuna, coated with sesame seeds, is seared to perfection and accompanied by a sauce based on soy, rice vinegar, maple syrup and Ghost. Served with edamame, lime juice, and garnished with fried and green onions, this dish offers bold and refined flavors.

Ingredients

  • 400 g of tuna
  • 3/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp Ghost Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup edamame
  • The juice of a lime
  • 1 tbsp crushed pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup fried onions
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped

Preparation

  1. Pat the tuna dry and coat it well on each side with the
    sesame seeds.
  2. In a large skillet over high heat, brown the piece of tuna for about 30 minutes.

  3. In the same pan, add the butter and edamame, add the juice
    lime and pepper and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside
    about 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, syrup
    maple syrup, Ghost Hot Sauce and sesame oil.
  5. Cut the tuna into slices of about 1 cm. Serve with the edamame,
    fried onions and sauce. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
