Tataki de Boeuf Fraises, Basilic & Prosecco

Discover our Firebarns beef tataki, a delicious fusion of exquisite flavors. Thin slices of tender beef are paired with juicy strawberries, fresh basil and a splash of Prosecco. Everything is enhanced by our spicy Sriracha Mayo and our Montreal steak spice blend, for an explosion of taste in the mouth. A refined and daring recipe that will awaken your taste buds.


  • 300 g top sirloin of beef
  • 1/2 cup Montreal Steak Spice
  • 10 strawberries cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped basil
  • The juice of a lime
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of Prosecco
  • 2 lawyers
  • 1 C. tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha Mayo


  1. Brush the beef with olive oil, spread the Montreal spices on a plate and pass the piece of beef in the spices so that the piece is evenly covered.
  2. In a pan over high heat, sear the piece of meat with a drizzle of olive oil for about 1 minute on each side. Remove from heat and refrigerate for a few minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the strawberries, basil, juice of half a lime and Prosecco.
  4. Using a fork or a small blender, combine the avocados, juice of half a lime and olive oil until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cut the beef into pieces of approximately 1 cm, serve on the avocado puree with the strawberry salsa and a drizzle of Sriracha mayonnaise.
