Surf & Turf Tortellini on the Griddle

A decadent dish that combines the richness of filet mignon, the luxury of lobster, and the crispiness of bacon, all perfectly enhanced by our Cajun Mardi Gras seasonings and our Rhum Chipotle hot sauce. A firework of land and sea flavors, Firebarns style.

Ingredients

  • 350g cooked and drained cheese tortellini
  • 300 g of lobster meat
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 2 tbsp. Cajun Mardi Gras seasonings
  • 2 French shallots, finely chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 to 4 tbsp. Rhum Chipotle Hot Sauce
  • 2 filet mignons

Preparation

  1. Cook the tortellini in boiling water, drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the bacon on the griddle and chop coarsely.
  3. Add butter, lobster, and Mardi Gras seasonings. Mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add the tortellini, mix well with the rest of the ingredients, add a drizzle of olive oil, the Rhum Chipotle sauce and the juice of half a lemon.
  5. Cook the filet mignon to the desired doneness. Let rest for 10 minutes and cut into slices.
  6. Serve the tortellini with grated Parmesan cheese, the filet mignon slices on top and sprinkle with green onions.
