Ingredients

Parmesan Bowls

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 pinch of paprika

Spicy Shrimp

  • 16-20 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. Tequila Lime hot sauce
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon

Salad

  • 1 finely chopped romaine heart
  • 1/2 cup croutons
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon

Caesar Dressing

  • 1/2 cup Zac Bulle mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. finely grated Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small grated garlic clove
  • 1-2 tsp. Original hot sauce
  • Generous black pepper
  • Salt, to taste

Preparation

  1. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, form 6 small circles of grated Parmesan, about 10 cm in diameter. Lightly sprinkle with pepper and paprika.
  2. Bake at 375°F for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown around the edges. Let stand for 30 to 45 seconds.
  3. Gently place each crisp over an inverted muffin tin to create a bowl shape. Let cool completely to set.
  4. In a bowl, mix Zac Bulle mayonnaise, Parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and Original hot sauce. Season generously with pepper and adjust salt. Refrigerate.
  5. Pat the shrimp dry. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Heat a large pan with olive oil and butter. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side. Add Tequila Lime hot sauce and lemon juice at the end of cooking. Quickly coat the shrimp in the spiced butter. Remove from heat immediately to keep them juicy.
  7. In a large bowl, mix the romaine lettuce with some of the spicy Caesar dressing. Add croutons and mix gently.
  8. Place each Parmesan bowl on a plate. Generously fill with Caesar salad. Add warm shrimp on top, then crispy bacon. Finish with an extra drizzle of dressing and a lemon wedge.
