Spicy Pasta Carbonara

A pasta carbonara recipe perfect for busy weeknights, ready in just 30 minutes and wonderfully spiced with our Scotch Bonnet hot sauce. Prepared with egg yolks, parmesan, bacon and pepper, this recipe will please the whole family.


  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 2 tbsp. teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 5 to 6 drops Scotch Bonnet hot sauce
  • 5 slices of bacon (thickly sliced) cut into small cubes
  • 250 g of cooked and drained pasta (keep 2 to 3 tablespoons of cooking water)


  1. In a pan, cook the bacon until crispy (Reserve the fat)
  2. In a bowl, mix the egg yolks, Parmesan, pepper, bacon fat and Scotch Bonnet sauce well.
  3. In the same pan used for the bacon, mix the pasta, cooking water, bacon and sauce well.
  4. Serve immediately with freshly grated parmesan.
