SPICY CHEESE DIP

A perfect starter for evenings with friends that will please everyone with a dip prepared from a blend of cream cheeses, mozzarella, parmesan and mozzarella di bufala seasoned with our Original hot sauce. All enhanced with tomatoes, proscuitto and our Montreal steak spices.

Ingredients

  • 250 g tempered cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated mozzarella
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 125 g bufala mozzarella
  • 2 to 3 tbsp. tbsp Original hot sauce
  • 3-4 small tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 25 ml of olive oil
  • 1 to 2 tbsp. tbsp Montreal steak spice
  • 100 g prosciutto, roughly chopped

Preparation

  1. On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, spread the tomato slices, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Montreal steak spices.
  2. Place in the oven at 425°F for approximately 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan and Original hot sauce.
  4. Place the mixture in a cast iron skillet and place in the oven at 375°F for approximately 20 minutes.
  5. Add the tomatoes, prosciutto and bufala mozzarella and return to the oven for about 10 minutes.
  6. Serve with bread croutons and fresh basil.
