PHILLY POTATO SKINS CHEESESTEAK

Discover our Philly Cheesesteak style stuffed potato skins, a gourmet and tasty fusion! Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes
  • 350 g of fondue meat
  • 225 g sliced ​​mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup BBQ Steak sauce
  • 6 slices of provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp Montreal steak spice
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Chives to serve

Preparation

  1. Wrap the potatoes individually in foil and place in the oven at 400°F for about 1 hour or until cooked through.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the mushrooms, pepper and fondue meat for a few minutes or until the meat is nicely browned. Add the Montreal steak spices, BBQ Steak sauce and simmer over low heat for a few minutes.
  3. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise and hollow out the center with a spoon, leaving about 1cm thick potato flesh.
  4. On a baking tray, place the potato skins and garnish with the meat mixture. Add the provolone cheese on top and put in the broiled oven for +/- 1 minute.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped chives before serving.
