EL PASO CHEESE CURDS

Mexican-style breaded cheese curds prepared with our El Paso Tex-Mex spices seasoned with Firebarns Ketchup enhanced with Tequila Lime hot sauce and chopped peperoncini peppers. It is also served with whole peperoncini peppers to truly recreate the Mexican experience. A perfect starter for your summer BBQs or tapas evenings that will please everyone!

Ingredients

  • 500 g cheese curds
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup El Paso Tex-Mex Spice
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • Whole peperoncini for serving

INGREDIENTS KETCHUP TEQUILA LIME

  • 125 ml of tomato ketchup
  • 50 ml Tequila Lime hot sauce
  • 10 peperoncini, finely chopped

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine all the Ketchup ingredients and set aside in the fridge.
  2. In three different bowls, add flour, eggs, breadcrumb mixture and El Paso Tex-Mex spices
  3. Dip the cheese curds in the flour, then in the eggs and in the El Paso spice and breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Cook in the Air Fryer at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Serve with Tequila Lime Ketchup and whole peperoncini peppers.
