Firebarns Bacon Breakfast Burrata

The perfect brunch to share for two! An ultra-creamy burrata sitting on a decadent blend of sausages, bacon and ham caramelized with maple syrup and flambéed with whisky. All enhanced with our Bacon hot sauce and our Cajun Mardi Gras seasonings. A spicy kick, a sweet and salty touch, and an explosion of flavors in every bite!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hollandaise sauce
  • 3 breakfast sausages, sliced
  • 4 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
  • Coarsely chopped ham
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Mardi Gras seasonings
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 oz whiskey
  • 150 g of burrata
  • 1 tbsp. Bacon Hot Sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Serve with baguette bread
  • Fresh sprouts for garnish

Preparation

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion in the butter for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add the sausage, bacon, ham and Cajun Mardi Gras seasonings.
  2. Let cook for a few minutes and deglaze with the whisky, then add the maple syrup, the Bacon hot sauce and continue cooking over medium heat for about 5 to 10 minutes, stirring from time to time.
  3. Place the burrata ball in the center of a plate and place the mixture around it. Then pour a few drizzles of hollandaise sauce on top of the burrata.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and serve with fresh sprouts.
