El Paso Jalapeno Poppers

Enjoy our El Paso Jalapeno Poppers, an explosion of Tex-Mex flavors! Made with our El Paso seasonings, these jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, shredded Tex-Mex cheese, and diced chorizo, are wrapped in crispy bacon and lightly sweetened with maple syrup. Perfect for a friendly evening!


  • 5 jalapeno peppers cut in half lengthwise
  • 10 slices of bacon
  • 250 g tempered cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated Tex-Mex cheese
  • 100 g chorizo ​​cut into small cubes
  • 50 ml maple syrup
  • 5 tbsp. El Paso Tex-Mex seasonings


  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, Tex-Mex cheese, 3 tbsp. of El Paso Tex-Mex seasonings and chorizo.
  2. Using a spoon, remove the insides of the jalapeno peppers.
  3. Stuff the inside of the peppers with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap with bacon and brush with maple syrup.
  5. Sprinkle with El Paso seasonings and place on the smoker at 275°F for 3 hours. Cooking can be done indirectly on a regular BBQ.
