This week, we're celebrating the sugar season in style with this delicious recipe for smoked meat dumplings served with maple mustard. Our Baseball Mustard is enhanced for the occasion with our Sriracha sauce, maple syrup and olive oil to perfectly match the smoky taste of the smoked meat. The smoked meat dumplings are also stuffed with pickles and diced sharp cheddar cheese to create the perfect flavor pairing.


  • 125 g of smoked meat, roughly chopped
  • 75 g sharp cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 large gherkin cut into small cubes
  • 25-30 dumpling wrappers
  • Green onions


  • 3 tbsp. tbsp Firebarns Baseball Mustard
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1 C. tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 C. tbsp Firebarns Sriracha sauce


  1. In a large bowl, combine the smoked meat, pickles and sharp cheddar.
  2. Place the equivalent of a tablespoon of the mixture in the center of the dumpling dough.
  3. Brush the edge of the dough with a little water and close it into a half-moon, making sure that the dumpling dough is well sealed.
  4. In a bowl, mix all the maple mustard ingredients.
  5. Cook the dumplings in the Air Fryer at 390°F for 15 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
