Ingredients

  • Memphis BBQ Sauce
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of sharp cheddar

PORK PATTIES

  • 400 g minced pork
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 4 to 5 drops of sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp Montreal steak spice

ASIAN SALAD

  • 1/2 cup julienned carrots
  • 1/2 cup shredded Chinese cabbage
  • 1 bunch of finely chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 2 to 3 drops of sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 C. tbsp Sriracha Firebarns

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the patties.
  2. Separate into 4 parts and shape into 4 compact balls.
  3. In a large, very hot cast iron pan on the stove or on the BBQ, place the meat balls, add parchment paper on top of the balls and flatten as much as possible using a press. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side and add a slice of cheese on each meatball. Remove from the heat and let the cheese melt over the patties.
  4. In a bowl, mix all the salad ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste.
