Cucumber Boats with Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese & Bacon Mayo

Crispy cucumber boats topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and everything bagel seasonings, topped with our Firebarns Bacon Mayo, crispy bacon, and green onions. A quick 15-minute appetizer perfect for cocktail hours and potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 2 English cucumbers
  • 200g cream cheese (Philadelphia type)
  • 150 g Grizzly smoked salmon
  • 2 tbsp everything bagel spice
  • 4 slices crispy bacon, crumbled
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Firebarns Bacon Mayo
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Ground pepper

Preparation

  1. Cut the cucumbers lengthwise. Using a small spoon, remove the core to create a cavity.
  2. Mix the cheese with lemon juice and a little pepper to obtain a soft and fragrant texture.
  3. Fill the cucumber halves with cream cheese. Then add the smoked salmon slices, nicely rolled or folded.
  4. Sprinkle with everything bagel spice, crispy bacon, and green onions.
  5. Just before serving, drizzle with a generous drizzle of Firebarns Bacon Mayo.
  6. Cut into sushi-style bites. Serve chilled.
