  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups of buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp. Cajun Mardi Gras spices
  • 3 to 4 drops of Scorpion Vodka Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 C. Cajun spices
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 chopped green onion to serve
  • Oil for frying

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups of warm milk
  • 5 tbsp. tablespoon of melted butter
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 C. tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp baking powder
  • 1 C. table salt
  • 1 C. teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into 3 lengthwise. In a large bowl, add the buttermilk, Cajun spices and Firebarns Scorpion. Combine the chicken with the mixture, run and place in the fridge for 2 to 24 hours.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, breadcrumbs and Cajun spices. Coat chicken strips individually in breadcrumb mixture and fry in oil at 375F for about 10 to 12 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  3. For the waffles: in a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients and in another bowl, combine the other elements. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the other mixture and whisk well until smooth.
  4. Cook in a waffle iron for about 5 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown.
  5. Mix the maple syrup with 3 to 4 drops of Firebarns Scorpion.
  6. Serve the waffles with the fried chicken, sprinkle with green onions and drizzle with maple syrup.
