Chicken Parm Double Smash Burger

Double Smash. Double Cheese. Double Spicy. An Italian-style burger that packs a punch: two crispy chicken parm patties, a mountain of melted mozzarella, homemade marinara sauce, fresh basil, and the knockout punch—our new Black Truffle Sriracha, which instantly adds luxury to any dish. An Italian classic with a BBQ twist!

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 450 g minced chicken;
  • 1 egg;
  • 40 g grated parmesan;
  • 40 g Italian breadcrumbs;
  • 1 tbsp Black Truffle Sriracha;
  • Salt and black pepper.

Burger

  • 2 brioche burger buns;
  • 150 g grated mozzarella;
  • 6 tbsp homemade (or store-bought) marinara sauce;
  • 1 tbsp Black Truffle Sriracha
  • A few fresh basil leaves
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground chicken with the egg, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, 1 tbsp of Black Truffle Sriracha, salt and pepper.
  2. Form 4 equal-sized balls.
  3. Heat a frying pan (or griddle) with a drizzle of olive oil over high heat.
  4. Place a ball, then crush it firmly with a spatula to form a thin patty
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Repeat with all the meatballs.
  7. Heat the marinara sauce and mix in the Black Truffle Sriracha.
  8. Add the sauce to the meatballs
  9. Place the mozzarella on each ball.
  10. Cover the pan for a few moments to allow the cheese to melt.
  11. Lightly toast the brioche buns.
  12. Spread the base generously with the Marinara-Sriracha sauce.
  13. Place the pancakes topped with mozzarella and sauce.
  14. Grate Parmesan cheese over the meatballs
  15. Add a little more sauce, a few fresh basil leaves.
  16. Close with the brioche hat.
