Discover our Southwest Portobello Burger, an explosion of flavors with grilled Portobello mushrooms, marinated in our black beer and chipotle BBQ sauce. Topped with Monterey Jack cheese, fried onions, pickled jalapeños and microgreens, this veggie burger is served with Bacon Mayo or Sriracha Mayo in a soft burger bun. Perfect for a gourmet meat-free option.


  • 4 portobello mushroom caps
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/3 cup microgreens
  • 1/4 cup fried onions
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of marinated jalapeños
  • 125 ml South-West BBQ sauce
  • 50 g Montreal steak spices
  • 75 ml Bacon Mayo orSriracha Mayo


  1. Brush the Portobello mushroom caps on each side with the Sud-Ouest BBQ sauce and sprinkle on both sides with the Montreal steak spices.
  2. On the BBQ at high intensity, grill the mushrooms for about 2 minutes on each side.
  3. Grill the buns on the BBQ for 1 minute, spread with Mayo Bacon or Sriracha Firebarns, add the microgreens, a slice of Monterey Jack, a Portobello mushroom, the fried onions and repeat the steps for the 2nd layer. Pour a drizzle of South-West BBQ sauce and close the burger.
  4. Serve with fries or chips.
