Buffalo Chicken & Caesar Salad Sandwich

Discover our delicious Buffalo Chicken & Caesar Salad Sandwich, a winning combo for lovers of spicy flavors. Chicken marinated in Buffalo sauce, grilled and served in a crispy ciabatta bread with a fresh and creamy Caesar salad! Perfect for a quick and tasty meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup cayenne hot sauce
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 ciabatta loaves, sliced
  • 3 tbsp garlic butter
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped romaine lettuce
  • The juice of a lemon
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and coarsely chopped
  • 4 to 5 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Caesar dressing
  • 25-30 g crushed Caesar croutons

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, bring the cayenne hot sauce, butter and paprika to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. In a resealable bag, add half of the sauce and the chicken. Close and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
  3. On a BBQ baking sheet, cook the chicken with the sauce for about 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Spread the ciabatta buns with garlic butter and grill on the BBQ.
  5. In a bowl, mix the salad, lemon juice, bacon, parmesan, Caesar dressing and croutons.
  6. Assemble the sandwiches with the chicken and Caesar salad.
  7. Serve remaining Buffalo sauce as a dipping sauce.
