gnocchis déjeuner smoked meat

A recipe for breakfast gnocchi prepared with a hollandaise sauce enhanced with our Honey Mustard BBQ sauce, dill pickles, smoked meat and cheese curds. Served with poached eggs, these gnocchi will please all breakfast lovers. You can also enhance your lunch with a spicy sauce of your choice which will give you a little heat in the mouth to the desired degree.


  • 500 g of gnocchi
  • 125 g of smoked meat, roughly chopped
  • 125 g cheese curds
  • 2 to 3 dill pickles, finely diced
  • 2 poached eggs
  • 1 cup of Hollandaise sauce
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoon of Mustard & Honey BBQ Sauce
  • Chives to serve
  • Firebarns Hot Saucea choice


  1. In a large skillet, brown the gnocchi with a little butter or olive oil until they are nicely browned on each side.
  2. On a plate, place half of the gnocchi, smoked meat and cheese curds. Repeat for the 2nd plate.
  3. Place in broil oven for 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese begins to melt and brown.
  4. Mix the Mustard & Honey sauce with the hot hollandaise sauce.
  5. Add the poached egg to the plate, pour over the hollandaise sauce and sprinkle with pickles and chives.
  6. Salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add a few drops of your favorite Firebarns hot sauce.
