Bacon mac and cheese bites spiced up with our Cajun Mardi Gras spices and Cayenne hot sauce. All fried in Flamin' Hot Doritos breading to ensure a spicy match!

  • 1 box of mac and cheese (KD)
  • 7-8 slices of bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp. Cajun Mardi Gras spices
  • 2 tbsp. cayenne hot sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup crushed Flamin' Hot Doritos

  • Ranch dressing (for serving)

  1. Prepare the macaroni as directed on the box and add the bacon, Cajun Mardi Gras spices and Cayenne hot sauce.
  2. Add plastic wrap to the bottom of a large dish and pour in the macaroni. Spread the macaroni to leave a height of approximately 2 cm. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for about 4 hours.
  3. Cut pieces approximately 2 cm wide by 6 cm high.
  4. Mix the Panko with the crushed Flamin' Hot Doritos and dip each piece in the flour, eggs and breading.
  5. Place in the Air Fryer for 10-12 minutes at 390°F or directly in the oil fryer. (Cooking time may vary depending on cooking method.)
  6. Serve with ranch dressing and green onions.
