Asperges Caesar

Try this reinvented version of Caesar salad cooked with asparagus since it is a seasonal vegetable. Our Montreal steak spices and hot sauces perfectly enhance this reinvented classic.


  • +/- 20 asparagus
  • 6 slices cooked and roughly chopped bacon
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp Montreal steak spice
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of olive oil
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/2 cup parmesan shavings
  • 1/2 cup garlic croutons
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • A few drops of yourFavorite Firebarns Hot Sauce


  1. In a mixing bowl, mix the asparagus, olive oil, lemon juice and Montreal steak spices well.
  2. On the BBQ, sear the asparagus at high temperature and cook indirectly for a few minutes or until cooked.
  3. On a serving plate, add the asparagus, bacon, parmesan shavings, croutons and Caesar vinaigrette.
  4. Sprinkle with Montreal steak spice and add a few drops ofhot saucebefore serving.
