Ingredients:
-1 lb of crab claws.
4 tomatoes, diced
-1/2 finely chopped onion
-2 oz of bourbon
-2 tsp of cajun spices
-1 tsp. cumin
-1 tbsp. original Firebarns
-1 tsp finely chopped garlic
-1 tsp finely chopped ginger
-1 tsp. butter
-2 cups of water
salt and pepper to taste
Fresh chives
Serve with rice or baguette
Preparation:
In a saucepan, sauté the onion, garlic and ginger in the butter for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add the Cajun spices and cumin. Mix well and simmer for 1 minute. Deglaze with bourbon and add tomatoes and water.
Bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Blend in a blender or food processor to obtain a sauce. Add the crab claws and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh chives and serve with rice or a baguette.
