CHAR SIU PORK CHOPS
The Char Siu pork is made of pork marinated for a long time with a mix of Asian-inspired ingredients enhanced with our Sriracha sauce and then grilled on the BBQ.
In this version, we serve it over chow mein noodles topped with Asian black pepper sauce, soy sauce and Sriracha.

4 pork chops
2 green onions, finely chopped
½ cup of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of red coloring
½ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon sesame oil
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp. Hoisin sauce
½ tbsp Chinese spices
1 tbsp. Sriracha sauce
300 g cooked and drained chow mein noodles
3 tbsp. Asian black pepper sauce
2 tbsp. Sriracha sauce
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. olive oil
Ingredients for marinade
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients for the marinade. Add pork chops to mixture and cover with plastic wrap. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
In a large wok over high heat, add noodles with olive oil. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes and add the sauces. Mix well and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
On the BBQ over high heat, sear the pork chops for 2 to 3 minutes on each side (cooking time may vary depending on thickness of the piece). Internal temperature of pork should reach 160°F.
