Ingredients for the Chili:

- 1 chopped yellow onion
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp cayenne powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- ½ cup Firebarns Bourbon Bacon
- 200 ml tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp tomato paste

Hot Dog Ingredients:

- 6 large hot dog buns
- 6 smoked sausages
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1/2 cup Firebarns Bourbon Bacon
- 1 cup arugula
- One jalapenos cut into small rounds
- Sour cream to taste
- ½ cup Tex-Mex shredded cheese

Preparation su chili:

- In a large saucepan, sauté the onion with a little butter or olive oil for about 5 minutes. Add the meat and continue cooking until the ground beef is cooked. Then add the dry spices and continue cooking on medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes;

- Put the beef mixture in a slow cooker, add the other ingredients and let it heat up for 6 to 8 hours.

Preparation of the Chili Dog:

- Wrap the smoked sausages in the bacon (2 slices per sausage) and cook in your favorite way (BBQ, pan or oven) I personally prefer the BBQ. When the bacon is almost cooked and crispy, brush with the Bourbon Bacon sauce and continue cooking for a few minutes;

- Reheat the breads and spread them with the remaining Bourbon Bacon sauce. Then add the arugula, sausage and chili. Finish with the cheese, sour cream and jalapenos.
