Ingredients Fried Chicken :
3 chicken breasts
-2 cup buttermilk
-2 tbsp of Cajun spices
3-4 tastes of Firebarns Scorpion
-1 cup of flour
-1 cup breadcrumbs
-1 tbsp Cajun spices
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 to 4 scoops of Firebarns Scorpion
1 chopped green onion to serve
Oil for frying
Ingredients Waffles :
-2 eggs
-1 ½ cuphot milk
-5 tbsp. melted butter
-2 cups of flour
-1 tbsp. sugar
-2 tbsp. baking powder
-1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation:
Cut the chicken breasts into 3 lengthwise. In a large bowl, add buttermilk, Cajun spices and Firebarns Scorpion. Combine the chicken with the mixture, run and place in the refrigerator for 2 to 24 hours.
In a bowl, combine flour, breadcrumbs and Cajun spices. Coat chicken strips individually in breadcrumb mixture and fry in oil at 375F for about 10-12 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
For the waffles:
In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients and in another bowl, combine the remaining items. Gradually stir dry ingredients into other mixture and whisk until well blended.
Cook in a waffle iron for about 5 minutes or until waffles are golden brown.
Mix maple syrup with 3 to 4 drops of Firebarns Scorpion.
Serve waffles with fried chicken, sprinkle with green onions and drizzle with maple syrup.
