GENERAL TAO CHICKEN WINGS WITH SRIRACHA FIREBARNS
-1kg of chicken wings
-1/4 cup of soy sauce
-1/4 cup of rice vinegar
-1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
1 tbsp of Firebarns Sriracha
-2 to 3 tastes of sesame oil
-1 tbsp of honey
Salt and pepper to taste
Sesame seeds to serve.
Coarsely chopped green onions to serve.
In a large bowl mix all ingredients except chicken wings and set aside.
On the BBQ (ideally) or in the oven, cook the chicken wings at 400F for 15 to 20 minutes. Add the chicken wings to the sauce and mix well.
Increase the heat and put the wings back on the BBQ until golden and crispy.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions and serve.
